Paike has always adhered to the development strategy of "Technological Innovation". It has 4 provincial or national R&D institutions, including national center for enterprise technology, national post-doctoral research center, Jiangsu Engineering Technology Research Center, and Jiangsu Enterprise Technology Center. In addition, it has cooperated with industry leading scientific research institutions to establish 2 internal R & D institutions-the Aerospace Light Alloy Ring Component R&D Center and Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute Joint Innovation Center, of which the core R&D personnel have won the title of "Outstanding Contributor" of Chang'e 4 project in 2019. Paike actively carries out industry-university-research cooperation. It has built a cooperative relation with top universities and research institutes in the industry, such as Northwestern Polytechnical University, Nanjing Tech University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Central Iron & Steel Research Institute, to jointly develop new products, absorb advanced technologies, and realize industrialization.

Paike has received the honors of national center for enterprise technology, national manufacturing single item champion demonstration enterprise, national specialized and innovative small and medium-sized enterprise, national new high-tech enterprise, national intellectual property dominant enterprise, national 5G factory, Jiangsu Internet benchmarking factory, Jiangsu intelligent factory, Jiangsu innovative leading enterprise, etc.. It has undertaken various scientific research projects such as national intelligent manufacturing project and national key research and development plans. Meanwhile, it has invested heavily in high-end manufacturing fields such as aerospace and aviation, expecting to constantly improve its core competitiveness.
